Music Therapy

Music Therapy is the clinical and evidence-based use of music interventions to accomplish individualized goals within a therapeutic relationship by a credentialed professional who has completed an approved music therapy program. At Inclusive Rhythms, we follow a trauma-informed, neurodiversity affirming approach that focuses on child strengths while using music to work on goals in the following areas: motor, speech and language, cognitive, self-advocacy, sensory integration and emotional regulation. Individuals do not need to be musicians or have musical experience to benefit from music therapy! Music therapy is primarily offered as individual therapy but can also be set up as partner or group therapy with other interested families.

Family and Me Class

A music opportunity designed for children ages 3 and younger and their families. Come join our weekly classes on Wednesdays from 9:00-10:30! Each class is led by a board-certified music therapist and will include language enrichment opportunities, music to encourage movement and dancing, exposure to instruments, free play opportunity, and a chance for children to meet, mingle, and play! Classes allow for 6 families to join per session.

TVI Support

For families of children who are blind/visually impaired; Sharon will accompany you and/or your child with a visual impairment to outside settings (home, school, therapy, eye doctors, etc.) and provide accommodations to the family and/or other willing professionals to help support the child in that environment.

Home Consultation

For anyone looking for any help to make their home fit their child’s needs a little better; Sharon will come to your home and help brainstorm ideas to make your space more accessible!
