About Music Therapy
Music therapy: A clinical and evidence-based intervention utilizing music to address physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs within a therapeutic relationship, facilitated by a qualified music therapist, to achieve specific goals and enhance overall well-being.
Our Mission
At Inclusive Rhythms, our mission is simple yet powerful: to use music interventions to meet kids where they are at, celebrating their unique individuality while fostering relationships that support progress across all developmental areas. We strive to create a safe and inclusive space where each child's journey is honored, fostering self-expression, growth, and joy. Through personalized interventions, we aim to empower children to embrace their individual strengths, providing a path to reaching their fullest potential.
Music Therapy at
Inclusive Rhythms
Music Therapy is the clinical and evidence-based use of music interventions to accomplish individualized goals within a therapeutic relationship by a credentialed professional who has completed an approved music therapy program. At Inclusive Rhythms, we follow a trauma-informed, neurodiversity affirming approach that focuses on child strengths while using music to work on goals in the following areas: motor, speech and language, cognitive, self-advocacy, sensory integration and emotional regulation. Individuals do not need to be musicians or have musical experience to benefit from music therapy! Music therapy is primarily offered as individual therapy but can also be set up as partner or group therapy with other interested families.
